week 13 blogs
today in class we talked about jews in world war one and two and we listened to an audio and took notes, but the only thing is, is that i didn't totally understand what they were talking about. the class also seemed a little boring today since we didn't do much other than listen and take notes. in the audio, i did hear about how jews were put in concentration camps and that some got away and when they made it to america, where they couldn't dock at their location so they tried to find somewhere else but got turned around and ended up back in europe and eventually caught.

week 12 blog
today in class we did a couple things which we went over our answers we had on the worksheet for the video we watched. then we took a test on it which i did not expect and was not ready for it. i do think however, that i did pretty good on it though because it seemed easy and i felt like i knew the answers. at the end of the class we watched a video that was very funny and what they said about this country is true.

human geo class
today in class we talked about the test and what the answers were to the questions. some people got an 90 or higher but some people didn't and ended up getting an 89 and lower. i was one of them but i didn't do well which i am not happy about, but i will have to study more for the next test. i also got a much lower grade than i expected which surprised me because i did not think that i did that bad i but instead thought that i would get at least an 90%.

test day
today in class we took a test on population and settlements which i don't know how good i did yet. on the first part of the test, we were aloud to use our computer but only to use the world factbook. then there were basic vocabulary like life expectancy and total fertility rate and there was 7 questions with some population pyramids which we had to use to answer the questions. they also had two bonus questions which i only answered one because that one was a little easier. the only thing about the test was that to of the questions i didn't get to answer because like there was 2 questions on GDP per capita and one for net migration which i couldn't find ether until one minute when i found GDP and then i only got one answered so i left two unanswered.

another class of human geo
today in class we reviewed everything that was going to be on the test which was facts from and about the cia fact book and things on the population pyramids. we also had three shadows in our class today so we almost didn't have enough desks for everyone to sit down. while we were reviewing we were in the fact book looking up facts about different countries on our computers which was pretty fun. some of the questions that we would get right, he would hand out smarties to us.

todays class
today in class we went over the population pyramid some more and looked at each state or countries birth rate and population growth. the united states population in the 1950s was as low as 200 million people including its birth rate which this all was after world war 2. we looked at the worlds population in that time and its population was 2 billion and the birth rate was at 7.2% which is very high. now today its population is at 7 billion which the birth rate wasn't as big but it was consistent for the past 10 years.
