week 16

today in class we finished reviewing the power point and talked about julius ceaser and octivian again. we talked about how they did not want another king like tarquin the proud, so they killed ceaser because he was gaining so much power even though he was doing so many good things for society. then they tried re building the roman republic but didn't work and octavian took power and brought rome to a 200 years of peace and died of old age. after he died tiderius took power and eventually didn't want it so he gave it up and caligula took it and died after 4 years because of his cruelty.
