if u compare the rap to the book, it sums up everything in the book with alot less detail but really gives you a good idea of how everything happened. one example of this how they explain how rome first started, they talked about how the latins came before the etruscans and the greeks and that tarqin was a tyrant and kicked him out. then they explain the new government which was a mixure of three being democracy, arastocracy, and monarchy. another thing thing that gets explained is how julius, pompey, and crassus took control and started taking over for a while until brutus and the senate murdered julius cesar, then agustus rose, took his place, and took control over rome with the other 2 guys.
